Hi – I’m Simon, I launched New To Ski to write about everything I wish someone had told me when I started learning to ski.

I started skiing on a school ski trip and have continued to practice and develop my skills.

I wanted a platform to share my journey and knowledge with other new skiers, so I launched New To Ski in 2018 to help first-time skiers have more fun on the slopes and get out and explore the mountains safely.

It was hard to find reliable, well-written information about skiing organized in one accessible place. I decided if I had a need for it then millions of others would. That was the start of NewToSki.com

My main role now is exploring new topics to write about, growing the website, and editing articles from our wonderful team of ski writers
